The founder and lead facilitator at Collaborative Connection is Patricia A. Cassiday. Tricia specializes in Intercultural Communication, Expatriate Support and International Retirement Transition!
Tricia is no stranger to transition, having moved to and from overseas assignments 12 times in the past 25 years. Each time Tricia moved to a new country, her experience was different and yet in some ways familiar. She was surprised to find that “coming home” to the US could be exceptionally challenging. Wanting to understand more about this experience, she returned to school, learning about intercultural communication and differing cultural values. She discovered a framework to better understand the transition process.
Tricia and her colleague, Donna Stringer, have written several books, sharing their understanding with others. Their most recent book, 52 Activities for Successful International Relocation, was published in 2014.
Tricia now has the fun of using all she has learned from her studies and life experiences to support others. Tricia’s goal and the goal of her colleagues at Collaborative Connection is to support YOU, wherever you are in the world, and in your life. Learn more about Tricia.
